How AI Is Used

HireLens uses large language models to analyze text-based signals about companies and recruiters. The AI does not browse the internet in real-time — it analyzes your query against its training knowledge and our structured prompts.

AI Knowledge Limitations

  • Models have training data cutoffs — very recent company changes may not be reflected.
  • Smaller or newer companies may have less training data, leading to lower confidence.
  • AI can occasionally generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information (hallucination).
  • All scores are probabilistic estimates, not factual determinations.

What AI Cannot Do

  • Access real-time websites or live databases
  • Verify legal registration or compliance records
  • Confirm current office occupancy
  • Replace legal background checks

Bias & Fairness

AI models may reflect biases in their training data. This could affect scores for companies from regions underrepresented in public data. We are working to improve fairness. If you believe a report is inaccurate, please contact us.

Human Oversight

HireLens does not take automated actions on users' behalf. All analysis is for informational display only, initiated by the user. No AI action occurs without user request.
